The Fondo de Ahorro de Panama publishes its First Informational Factsheet (August 2017)

The Fondo de Ahorro de Panama (“FAP” or “Fund”) has published its first informational Factsheet for August 2017.  In this publication you will find audited financial information from 2012 to 2016, and unaudited financial data of the first eight months of 2017 (August).

This Factsheet contains relevant information relative to our investment management activities in 2017. Further, we summarize our corporate governance and management structure as it relates to our asset management functions.

About the Fondo de Ahorro de Panama

The Fund was created by Law 38 of June 5, 2012, whose main objectives are:

1. Establish a long-term savings mechanism for the Panamanian State; and
2. Establish a stabilization mechanism in case of a state of emergency (declared by the Cabinet’s Council) and economic slowdowns.
