Strengthening Our Leadership in Responsible Investment

The Panama Savings Fund (“FAP” or “Fund”) announces the results of its 2025 Assessment under the Principles for Responsible Investment (“PRI”). These results reflect the Fund’s ongoing commitment to high standards of governance, transparency, and accountability, in line with leading international best practices.

In this year’s assessment, FAP achieved strong ratings across most evaluated modules, placing the Fund very close to the highest scores permitted under the PRI methodology. The Assessment Score Summary confirms the Fund’s continued progress in strengthening its responsible investment policies and procedures.

The PRI highlighted that the information disclosed by the Fund contributes to enhancing comparability among signatories and to fostering a global culture of transparency, learning, and continuous improvement within the sustainable investment industry.

About the Panama Savings Fund
The Fund was created under Law 38 of June 5, 2012, with the following primary objectives:

  1. To establish a long-term savings mechanism for the Panamanian State; and

  2. To establish a stabilization mechanism for states of emergency (declared by the Cabinet Council) and periods of economic slowdown.
